We are seeking an experienced Electronics Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee SMT production operations, including program setup, equipment maintenance, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SMT programming and rework, a solid understanding of IPC standards (610 and 7721), and a thorough knowledge of electronic assemblies and ESD control. Job Description:

  • Supervise daily SMT production activities, including setup, operation, and maintenance of SMT lines and equipment.
  • Ensure all assemblies meet IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
  • Monitor and maintain production schedules to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate SMT operators and technicians.
  • Work with engineering and quality teams to resolve process or quality issues.
  • Oversee equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and enforce proper material handling, including forklift operations when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and process records.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce defects.


Requirements and Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SMT manufacturing or electronics assembly.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a production environment.
  • Certification and working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards required.
  • Valid Forklift License
  • Strong knowledge of SMT equipment (e.g., pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI, stencil printers).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
