Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Restaurant Chef at Karma Fine Indian Cuisine, located in Calgary, AB. The Restaurant Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality Indian cuisine, ensuring food hygiene and safety standards, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining a clean and organized cooking environment. Additional duties include collaborating with team members to support seamless food service and incorporating culinary creativity to enhance the menu offerings.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Food Preparation, Cooking, and proficient Culinary Skills
• Strong understanding of Food Service and the ability to manage kitchen operations
• Knowledge of Hygiene and food safety regulations with an ability to maintain clean and efficient workspaces
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Experience in Indian cuisine is highly preferred
• A culinary degree or relevant certification is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Fluent in English

Experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 yrs with Indian Cuisine

Pay

• Starting $36/hr
• Minimum 40hrs per week
