About
Collins Aerospaces Integrated Secure Processing Solutions (SPS) team is seeking an exceptionally motivated engineer to join our mission?critical software engineering effort. In this role you will collaborate with high?performance teams to develop embedded solutions that support mission systems across defense, aerospace, and commercial markets. What Youll Do Drive Embedded Software Engineering Excellence: Demonstrate expert proficiency in embedded C/C++ and Python throughout all phases of development, ensuring high?quality, reliable solutions that meet functional and performance requirements. Lead Technical Proposals and Program Cost Estimations: Own the development of technical proposals and detailed program?level cost estimates during the bid and proposal cycle. Lead and Coordinate Software Execution for Small Teams: Manage software development for smaller teams, ensuring technical quality, schedule alignment, and a collaborative environment. Translate Customer Requirements into Comprehensive Solutions: Turn customer needs into end?to?end system solutions, addressing technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Manage Program Cost, Schedule, and Risk: Estimate, track, and communicate program performance metrics, including cost, schedule, and risk. Proactively Identify and Mitigate Risks: Leverage technical expertise to spot and address potential risks early, maintaining program success.

Qualifications You Must Have
Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience. Active and transferable U.S. government?issued security clearance required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required for eligibility for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with multi?threaded real?time embedded applications. Prior experience leading proposals and bidding exercises utilizing the SEER parametric estimation tool. Experience with Agile development methodology and roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner. TCP/IP network applications development experience. UML modeling experience. Background and/or knowledge of cross domain solutions.

Salary Range
$101,000 - $203,000 USD (range reflects all experience levels). Compensation is determined by role, function, responsibilities, location, education, and key skills. Apply Now
