Lee Enterprises, Inc.is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr Technical Business Analyst to join our team and help drive the delivery of high-impact solutions. The Sr Technical Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, Product Management, and the development team, ensuring the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives. You'll play a critical role in translating requirements into actionable user stories and ensuring the team delivers maximum value in each sprint.
Key Responsibilities: Demonstrated expertise in Agile frameworks with a clear understanding of the Sr Technical Business Analyst responsibilities within cross-functional teams. Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities and is always ready for development. Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team to plan and deliver sprint work. Ensure the team has a two-sprint-ready backlog and is aligned with the product roadmap. Participate in and contribute to all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. Act as the day-to-day point of contact for developers and designers regarding product direction and decisions. Provide regular status updates and communicate progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders. Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage workflow and documentation. Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working with cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills - comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience writing clear and concise user stories and business requirements. Proficient in common product and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Traits:
