Job Description

Rogers Law Group is seeking a Lawyer with 3 - 5 years of family law litigation experience to join our firm. You will have the opportunity to work independently and take on meaningful files. Mentorship is available as needed. This is a hybrid remote role where you will work a minimum of 2 days a week in the office and 3 days a week from home.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage family law, civil, and estate litigation files
  • Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, settlement proposals, correspondence, etc
  • Attend trials, applications, mediations, and discoveries
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients
  • Collaborate with support staff and other lawyers to advance matters efficiently


Hybrid Work

This is a hybrid remote position. You will work in the office at least two set days per week, with the remaining days worked from home unless additional in-person attendance is required.


Qualifications

  • Called to the Bar in BC with 3 to 5 years of family law litigation experience
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in client service
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
