Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day fleet and equipment readiness, ensuring availability, reliability, and compliance.
- Coordinate with Operations, Project Teams, and external vendors to meet equipment needs across multiple sites.
- Conduct inspections, verify maintenance documentation, and ensure all procedures are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain an up-to-date equipment inventory for all shop, yard, and field locations.
- Ensure all maintenance records, service requests, and tracking systems are accurate, accessible, and updated in real time.
- Verify equipment insurance, registration, permits, and certificates are consistently current.
- Monitor corrective actions related to inspections, investigations, and deficiencies; identify trends and report non-conformance issues.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (DOT, TDG, Transport Canada).
- Participate in the selection, onboarding, and training of Drivers and Field/Shop Technicians.
- Provide mentorship and support to shop personnel, promoting safe and efficient work practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety-sensitive practices.
- Perform other duties as required to support operational success.
- 2+ years of experience in fleet, equipment coordination, or maintenance administration.
- Background in industrial, oilfield, construction, plant, or field services environments.
- Solid knowledge of provincial Health & Safety regulations and transportation requirements (DOT, TDG, Transport Canada).
- Certifications such as H2S Alive, CSO, First Aid/CPR are considered assets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and digital maintenance/asset tracking systems.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening (safety-sensitive role).
