We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team and support our growing operations.
The Maintenance Manager coordinates activities of the maintenance staff in setting up, installing, repairing and maintaining machinery/equipment, metal fabricating parts and tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership: Supervise and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintenance Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage maintenance strategies, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment, including machining centers, press brakes, shears, and other metal fabrication equipment.
- Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of facilities, including building repairs, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and implement safety procedures to prevent injuries and equipment damage.
- Quality and Continuous Improvement: Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives to improve maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other departments to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production needs and goals.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management.

Education, Skills and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific PLC platforms, such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
- Experience with electrical design and installation, including knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance and other maintenance methodologies.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement initiatives.
