Our client is seeking a senior executive to join the leadership team as Chief Operating Officer, reporting directly to the owners and Board of Directors. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic scaling of global supply chain operations for a fast-moving consumer goods company, ensuring operational excellence that enables commercial success.
The mandate is clear: lead transformation, inspire high-performing teams, and embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This executive will optimize operations, implement KPI-driven processes, and leverage innovation and technology to build systems that support rapid growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable Commercial Success: Design and optimize operations that align closely with sales objectives, ensuring every process accelerates market impact and revenue growth.
- Scale for Growth: Lead the strategic expansion of global supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution to support rapid business growth and evolving market demands.
- Drive Performance: Establish and monitor KPI-driven processes that foster a disciplined, data-focused culture emphasizing speed, efficiency, and accountability.
- Lead Transformation Through Technology: Deploy innovative tools and solutions—including robotics, automation, and AI—to enhance scalability, streamline operations, and achieve operational excellence.
- Build High-Performing Teams: Recruit, develop, and inspire teams that embrace ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Senior Executive Experience: Proven success leading supply chain operations at scale
- Commercial Mindset: Understands how operational excellence drives revenue and market share.
- Transformational Leader: Skilled at building teams and cultures focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Data-Driven: Expertise in KPI management and performance optimization.
- Global Perspective: Comfortable managing international operations and vendor relationships.
- Added Strengths: Experience with S&OP or IBP is an asset.
