Responsibilities:
- Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Accurately document all outgoing shipments, generating necessary shipping labels and manifests.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and manage freight.
- Verify order details against shipping documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as needed.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet jacks and scanners, safely.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and guidelines.
- Consistently wear and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
- Support the broader logistics function of the warehouse.
- Perform tasks that involve moderate Lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk, warehouse associate, or in a related logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and computer systems.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with manual Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs.
- A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
