Responsibilities:
  • Process and prepare all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, LTL) to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Verify package contents against shipping orders and invoices.
  • Generate and affix correct shipping labels and documentation.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records, both physical and digital.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external carriers regarding shipment status.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of shipping areas to ensure organization and safety.
  • Handle any shipping-related inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Properly use and maintain any required PPE in the shipping area.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics/administrative role.
  • Proficiency in shipping software and carrier platforms.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
