Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Shipping Clerk to join our logistics operations in Denver, Colorado. The Shipping Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring that all outbound orders are accurately prepared, packaged, and dispatched to our customers. You will be responsible for coordinating the shipping process, verifying order details, and preparing shipping documentation. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety. This role involves significant standing, walking, and requires the ability to handle lifting of packages, typically up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify outgoing orders against shipping manifests.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment.
  • Operate shipping software to create labels and track shipments.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
  • Ensure all shipments are properly documented and meet carrier requirements.
  • Inspect packed items for quality and accuracy before dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including occasional lifting.
  • Communicate effectively with sales, customer service, and other departments.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehouse role preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to safety and experience using PPE.
