Senior Systems Administrator
The Senior Systems Administrator maintains and supports the organization's multi-user software applications, information technology systems, and related technologies. This team is seeking someone experienced in applying PeopleSoft PUM updates & PeopleTools upgrades, managing PeopleSoft servers (application, web, process), the configuration/setup & maintenance of OpenSearch, experience with Integration Broker, including setting up/configuring gateways, nodes, etc, and proficiency with Oracle Database tuning. Experience with WebLogic is preferred. Responsibilities include performing complex problem resolution and documentation, providing analysis of business and user needs to implement application/file changes to improve the system, developing project plans for system upgrades or other Information Technology (IT) related projects, creating testing plans, test scripts, performing system testing and documenting results, performing configuration, testing, and documenting configuration changes as it pertains to clinical or business/custom applications, supporting the interfaces and integration of data within the Orlando Health systems, performing performance improvement tasks to resolve application related issues, having a thorough understanding and ability to support the IT application system architecture, performing software upgrades, and vendor fixes to operating systems and layered software packages including planning/scheduling, testing, and coordination, ensuring workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions, performing daily monitoring of supported systems to ensure system integrity, performing system monitoring and data evaluation for growth statistics, space forecasts, disk spaces planning and management, defining standards for data backup/recoveries and maintaining software/hardware inventories, having a thorough understanding of interfaces and/or file structure(s) between the core business software and any relevant Orlando Health IT systems or hardware, creation, documentation and implementation of change requests, developing and promoting standard operating procedures and process documentation, maintaining appropriate system security to meet state or federal regulations and to insure the confidentiality of all data, actively mentoring and guiding less experienced staff, independently serving periods of on-call coverage at scheduled intervals, and maintaining compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
