Job Summary:
Become a Picker/Packer in our dynamic warehouse located in Richmond, Virginia. This role is at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their correct items quickly and accurately. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, carefully packing them for shipment to prevent damage, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety. You'll be doing a significant amount of Walking and Lifting throughout your shift, so a good level of physical fitness is necessary. Consistent adherence to all Safety guidelines and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our logistics operations. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using order lists.
  • Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
  • Package items securely and appropriately for shipping.
  • Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Operate scanning equipment and assist with inventory checks.
  • Meet daily picking and packing quotas.
  • Support the overall logistics team and workflow.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
  • Ability to perform frequent Lifting and bending.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
