About
Join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida, as a Picker/Packer and play a crucial role in our order fulfillment process. This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking items from warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment. You will be the final point of quality control before an order leaves our facility, ensuring that customers receive the correct products in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and has a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include reading order tickets, locating products on shelves, scanning items, carefully packing them for transit, and labeling packages correctly. Experience with RF scanning devices and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. A good understanding of inventory management and warehouse organization is beneficial. Safety is a top priority in our logistics operations, so all employees must adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order details.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and damage.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate RF scanners to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics hub.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
