Responsibilities:
- Verify shipping details and customer orders for accuracy.
- Generate and apply shipping labels and documentation.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- Assist with loading trucks and staging outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, carriers, and customers regarding shipments.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Wear all required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves, during shipping operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate lifting as needed.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Must be comfortable wearing necessary PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
