Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Prepare picked items for packing and shipment, ensuring proper handling.
- Operate picking equipment safely and efficiently as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
- Conduct checks to ensure picked items match order requirements.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and guidelines for order picking.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets.
- Wear all mandated PPE, including safety footwear and vests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in item selection.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
