Job Summary:
We're hiring a motivated Material Handler for our St. Louis, Missouri location! Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
  • Sort and organize materials for proper storage or distribution.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
  • Assist in receiving and put-away processes.
  • Ensure materials are staged correctly for shipping.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Perform routine checks on material handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to good housekeeping practices.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar manual labor role is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and other physical tasks.
  • Proficiency in operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (certification may be required/provided).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • Team player with effective communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
  • Commitment to following all logistics and safety regulations.
