We are hiring dependable Warehouse Workers for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, involving a variety of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking and shipping. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, efficient, and dedicated to upholding high standards of safety and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse space.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and secure.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts is highly desirable.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety best practices and logistics workflows.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
