Become a vital part of our logistics network as a Material Handler in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving the movement and organization of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, identifying, staging, and dispatching materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Your tasks will include loading and unloading shipments, operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, and assisting in maintaining inventory accuracy. We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who understand the importance of teamwork and safety in a fast-paced logistics setting. Proper use of PPE is required at all times. Key responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Moving materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Identifying and verifying incoming shipments.
- Staging materials for outgoing shipments.
- Assisting with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Supporting the broader logistics team in achieving operational goals.
