Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in Columbus, Ohio! As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our fulfillment center, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on pick lists and prepare them for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be working with a variety of products, requiring you to navigate the warehouse effectively and safely. We are looking for energetic individuals who can work diligently to meet daily picking targets. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear the provided PPE. This role involves frequent walking, bending, and lifting. Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking customer orders using a scanner and pick list.
- Locating items in the warehouse quickly and efficiently.
- Verifying picked items against order specifications.
- Packing items securely for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly using warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, including stocking and cycle counts.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
