We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Denver, Colorado. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring efficiency and productivity. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining a safe, organized, and high-performing distribution center. You will play a key role in optimizing workflows, implementing best practices, and fostering a positive team environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse logistics. You will be instrumental in training new employees, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Develop and implement efficient work schedules.
- Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are followed, including the correct use of PPE.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing departments.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on operational procedures and safety.
- Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout for maximum efficiency.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records and generate performance reports.
- Enforce strict adherence to Lifting guidelines and safe work practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management. Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate and guide a team. Knowledge of inventory management systems. Familiarity with OSHA and other relevant safety standards. Ability to handle physical demands, including occasional Lifting of heavy items. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
