Job Summary:
Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Seattle, Washington, and play a vital role in our supply chain operations. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual to manage the flow of goods in and out of our facility. This position involves meticulous tracking of inventory, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of materials, from small packages to larger freight. A strong understanding of logistics and warehouse best practices is essential. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and safety. You'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to operational excellence. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, document, and store incoming inventory accurately.
  • Inspect goods for damages and report any discrepancies immediately.
  • Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
  • Coordinate with carriers for timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
  • Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse environment.
  • Strong physical stamina and the capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of PPE usage.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
