About
Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity? Our Jacksonville, Florida logistics hub is seeking a skilled professional to manage the movement of goods within our facility. In this critical role, you will operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange inventory. Ensuring the safety of yourself and others, maintaining equipment, and contributing to the efficient flow of our warehouse operations are key aspects of this position. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of Safety and expect all team members to strictly follow procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move materials within the distribution center.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure placement of goods.
- Transport inventory to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Stack and arrange goods in designated locations, maximizing space utilization.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
- Follow all warehouse Safety protocols and procedures meticulously.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements at all times.
- Support overall logistics operations by ensuring efficient material handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
