Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our vibrant warehouse team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse. This role is critical for maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that inventory is organized and accessible. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, stack products, and transport materials to designated areas. A strong focus on Safety, attention to detail, and a commitment to following established procedures are paramount. This position requires proficiency in operating forklift equipment and a thorough understanding of warehouse Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. Your contribution is vital to our logistics and supply chain operations. You will be involved in tasks requiring moderate Lfiting and general material handling.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
  • Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
  • Stack and organize products in an efficient and orderly manner.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the correct use of PPE at all times.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including Lfiting and order picking.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials moved.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or Safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lfiting.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to wear required PPE.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic logistics flow.
