You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from unloading trucks to preparing orders for delivery. This position involves significant Lifting and requires adherence to proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. The logistics of moving goods within the warehouse will be a daily focus. Ensuring all team members utilize appropriate PPE is a priority.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Safety guidelines.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securement of goods.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies in inventory.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE.
- Assist with Lfiting and moving of products of varying weights and sizes.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
