Our logistics facility in Durham, North Carolina, seeks a diligent Warehouse Associate to support our daily operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse, involving receiving, storing, and distributing a wide range of products. You will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, packing them securely for shipment, and assisting with inventory management. A rigorous focus on Safety is required; we provide thorough training and all necessary PPE . This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds, and requires an individual who can work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies.
- Store products in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Fulfill orders by picking items accurately and efficiently.
- Package items for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Prioritize and practice workplace Safety at all times, utilizing all required PPE .
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory control.
- Dedication to upholding strict Safety standards and using PPE correctly.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- High school diploma or GED.
