We are looking for a diligent and efficient Material Handler to join our busy warehouse in Durham, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, involving the movement of goods, organization of inventory, and preparation of shipments. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring that products are handled with care and accuracy. This position requires physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and a strong commitment to Safety protocols. We provide all necessary PPE , and adherence to these guidelines is mandatory. The ideal candidate is a team player with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Sort, organize, and store materials in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all Safety procedures, including the use of required PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including regular Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper handling of materials.
- Familiarity with PPE requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
