Join our vibrant New York City distribution center as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to our dynamic logistics operations. This role is critical for ensuring that products are processed efficiently, from inbound receipt to outbound shipping. You'll engage in various warehouse tasks, including order picking, packing, stocking, and general material handling. A strong focus on Safety, efficiency, and teamwork is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments, reporting any issues.
- Organize and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks for material movement.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Strictly follow all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Employ correct Lifting techniques for all assigned tasks.
- Support the seamless flow of logistics within the distribution center.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous. Must be capable of Lifting up to 45 lbs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. Excellent organizational skills and a strong dedication to Safety. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
