About
Our Phoenix, Arizona facility is looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, responsible for accurately documenting, inspecting, and organizing all received goods. Your precision in this role directly impacts inventory accuracy and the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. - Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and check for damages or discrepancies.
- Unload trucks and pallets, accurately documenting all received items.
- Process receiving documentation using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Tag and label incoming inventory, preparing it for stocking.
- Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is worn when handling certain materials or in designated areas.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Ability to perform tasks involving some physical exertion, including Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with WMS or similar inventory software is a plus.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent communication skills.
