Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Stock and retrieve materials from designated warehouse locations.
- Organize inventory to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of material handling equipment.
- Assist in inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all established safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent lifting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety standards and using required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
