Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order slips or scanning equipment.
- Verify item codes, quantities, and condition before packing.
- Pack items safely and securely using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation correctly.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all warehouse safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Operate basic material handling equipment, like pallet jacks, as needed.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order details accurately.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Capability for regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by safety standards.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts if necessary.
