Responsibilities:
- Receive and interpret order lists or manifests.
- Locate and retrieve specified products from warehouse shelving using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts).
- Utilize handheld scanners or other technology to track picked items and update inventory records.
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are picked according to order specifications.
- Transport picked goods to designated packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strict adherence to all company Safety guidelines and warehouse procedures is required.
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is enforced.
- Tasks may involve significant physical effort, including frequent and heavy Lifting.
- Contribute to the seamless operation of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse position is highly valued.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents and product labels.
- Proficiency with scanning devices and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform substantial Lifting for extended periods.
- Commitment to upholding workplace Safety standards.
- Must be able to comfortably wear and utilize required PPE.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics principles and warehouse operations.
