Join our thriving warehouse operations as a Warehouse Worker in San Jose, California. This role is fundamental to the efficient functioning of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and general warehouse upkeep. You will handle incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring they are stored correctly and processed according to established procedures. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to a seamless supply chain. Your responsibilities will include picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment. The ability to work efficiently and accurately is paramount. This role requires regular Lifting of items up to 60 lbs, frequent bending, and standing for extended periods. Strict adherence to all Safety guidelines and the correct use of required PPE are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in the Logistics field. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Store goods in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for outbound transportation, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety and security.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs, pushing, pulling, and standing for long hours. Familiarity with warehouse equipment is a plus. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to following Safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE . Understanding of basic Logistics principles. Reliable and punctual. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks. Experience with inventory management systems is advantageous. Eagerness to contribute to a productive and safe warehouse operation. Focus on efficiency and accuracy in all tasks. Knowledge of proper material handling techniques. Understanding of warehouse Logistics and flow.
