We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Jacksonville, Florida location. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory accuracy within our warehouse. This includes conducting regular audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing procedures to maintain optimal inventory levels. Your work is critical to the efficiency of our logistics operations, ensuring that stock is available and accounted for. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
Proven experience in inventory control or a related field, preferably in logistics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs when necessary. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A strong commitment to maintaining accuracy and safety is essential. This role is key to our supply chain's integrity and success.
