We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials is paramount. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading goods from trucks, transferring materials to and from storage areas, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Compliance with all safety regulations and company policies is mandatory. You will also perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues immediately. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a good understanding of warehouse operations. Experience with various types of forklifts and warehouse management systems is a plus. We provide all necessary PPE to ensure your safety while performing your duties. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from various warehouse locations.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
