About
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is critical for the efficient movement of goods throughout our facility. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and assist with order picking and stocking. A strong commitment to Safety , operational efficiency, and proper equipment handling is essential. This position is central to our Logistics operations, ensuring smooth material flow and warehouse organization. We expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety regulations and utilize all required PPE .
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the facility.
- Use all required PPE correctly and consistently.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment. Ability to perform tasks that require physical exertion beyond operating the forklift, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs). Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics . Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is paramount. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Adherence to all PPE requirements is mandatory.
