About
We are hiring motivated Picker/Packers for our bustling warehouse facility in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for picking items from shelves and preparing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and a strong commitment to quality control within our logistics framework.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Prepare shipments for loading, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the warehouse and logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and utilizing provided PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
