We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are precise and readily available for operational needs. Your primary duties will involve conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future errors. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations departments to reconcile inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively. A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach are essential for success in this position. You will also be involved in optimizing warehouse layout and storage solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles and the ability to utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) proficiently. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to **safety** and proper handling of materials, is paramount. We expect candidates to be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and demonstrating a commitment to accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in inventory management and a solid understanding of **logistics** operations. A commitment to wearing the required **PPE** and following all **safety** guidelines is mandatory. The ability to perform tasks that involve **lifting** up to 30 lbs occasionally is also part of the role. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
