Join our dynamic team as a Fulfillment Associate in Washington, D.C.! We are looking for motivated individuals to support our fast-paced e-commerce fulfillment operations. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work with cutting-edge technology, including scanning devices and automated systems, to manage inventory and fulfill orders. Responsibilities include receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking items for orders, packing them securely, and dispatching them to our customers. Your contribution is vital to our logistics success. We prioritize safety above all else, and all team members are required to use appropriate PPE and follow strict safety guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Process incoming shipments, including receiving and stocking inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to inventory management through cycle counts and stock checks.
- Meet or exceed daily performance targets for picking, packing, and shipping.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order completion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics roles is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning technology.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
