Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage inbound and outbound shipments at our busy Boston, Massachusetts facility. This role is critical for maintaining the flow of goods within our logistics network. You will be responsible for accurately receiving inventory, verifying shipments against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. Your ability to organize, track, and manage inventory will directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, which includes significant lifting .   • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
  • Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Process and document outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Organize warehouse space efficiently for both incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations. Ability to perform heavy physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs. Must be comfortable operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with WMS software is a plus. Willingness to wear mandatory PPE . Commitment to workplace safety and best practices in logistics . High school diploma or equivalent required.
