This is a critical role within our logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient handling of goods. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately. A strong emphasis on safety is maintained through regular training and the provision of all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle tasks involving frequent lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory efficiently.
- Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and care.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory levels.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (training available).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Adhere to all safety policies and use appropriate PPE.
- Meet daily performance targets for picking, packing, and shipping.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
