Join our dynamic logistics team as an Order Picker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Your primary focus will be on selecting the correct items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for dispatch. This position requires excellent organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. You will work closely with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processing of all orders. Understanding inventory management principles is a plus. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Package items securely for shipment, ensuring no damage during transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Requirements:
Must be able to perform frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs). Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setting. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in logistics or warehouse operations is preferred but not required. A strong understanding of safety protocols is essential for this role. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth.
