You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and unloading shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing goods for dispatch. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable individual with a strong commitment to safety and a knack for organization. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and general logistics principles is beneficial. This role requires physical capability, including the ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Your adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is crucial. Contribute to our seamless logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
- Unload materials from trucks and transport them to storage areas.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory efficiently.
- Pick customer orders accurately based on pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and guidelines.
- Perform regular lifting tasks as required by the job.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Punctual and reliable work ethic.
