Our facility in Richmond, Virginia is looking for enthusiastic Warehouse Workers to join our logistics team. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient flow of goods. You'll be involved in receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to safety are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise onto shelves and into designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of products.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs, throughout the shift.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of lifting techniques.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Commitment to safety protocols and wearing required PPE at all times.
- Good communication skills.
