Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to join our team at our Seattle, Washington facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout the warehouse, playing a crucial role in our logistics operations. Your primary duties will include operating forklifts and other machinery to transport, store, and retrieve goods. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is a top priority, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE, is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to handle a variety of tasks related to material flow. You will be expected to follow instructions precisely and contribute to the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members are essential.   • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently.
  • Move materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
  • Inspect equipment for safety issues and report any malfunctions.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 60 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
