We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance. This position requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with the warehouse team, logistics providers, and other departments to optimize workflow and meet operational goals. A key aspect of this role involves maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for managing shipping schedules, preparing documentation, and tracking shipments. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a vital part in ensuring that our logistics operations are efficient and cost-effective.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
- Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
- Assist with Lfiting and moving of inventory as needed, adhering to proper techniques.
- Ensure that all team members are using appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in WMS software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols and procedures.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting.
