The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and inventory management within our distribution center. You will be instrumental in loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and fulfilling orders accurately and promptly. Our commitment to a safe working environment means providing all necessary PPE , and we expect all employees to adhere strictly to all safety protocols. This position involves significant Lifting and requires physical stamina and attention to detail. As a key player in our Logistics network, you will contribute directly to the success of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve materials from high shelves.
- Inspect equipment daily and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of PPE .
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure the efficient flow of goods throughout the facility.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and equipment operation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
