About
Our Virginia Beach, Virginia location is seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking items to fulfill customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, ensuring that orders are processed correctly and that inventory is handled with care. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity within the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order details against picked items before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking and reporting.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Follow proper Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to the overall speed and accuracy of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous picking and packing experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving repetitive motion. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to Safety. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Team player mentality.
