Our Jacksonville, Florida distribution center is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our dedicated team. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility, from receiving to shipment. You will be involved in a variety of warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, and committed to maintaining a high level of Safety and productivity. Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders with accuracy and speed.
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, checking for damages and discrepancies.
- Put away received items in designated storage locations.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Follow proper techniques for Lifting and moving materials.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the distribution center's logistics.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is beneficial. Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to Safety. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment, both independently and as part of a team.
