You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods, ensuring the integrity of our inventory and the timely flow of products. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, in a safe and productive manner.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of cargo.
- Transport materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping docks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Maintain accurate logs of forklift usage and inventory movements.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts and location verification.
- Follow all guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience. Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong understanding of Safety procedures and best practices. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours.
